Just five minutes north of the Auckland Harbour Bridge lies the North Shore's premier commercial town centre with the added attractions of a golden sand beach and a unique volcanic fresh water lake.

Geographically bounded by Anzac Rd, Lake Rd and Hurstmere Rd, Takapuna Beach has over 500 business members and is defined as the CBD of North Shore City. It houses retail and major financial corporations as well as being the home of the North Shore City Council.
