Albany Village Business Association

Albany Village sprung up at the base of the Lucas Creek waterfall. Shallow bottom scows navigated their way up the Lucas Creek from downtown Auckland where the cargo was transferred to carts with fresh horses to begin their trek northwards.

Albany Village is nestled in the bush clad hills and still has many of its original buildings.  The village has now been joined by Massey University, which is leading the way in technology and business studies.

There are many volunteer groups that strive to foster and grow Albany Village including the Albany Heritage group, Albany Village Business Association and the Landowners group. Together these groups come under the umbrella of the Albany Village Energy Group whose aim is to make Albany Village a great place to live, work and play.
