Global Experts

Global Expert is a service provided by the Foundation for Research, Science and Technology in partnership with Enterprise North Shore. It is a professional service that results in a report with introductions to world-class experts and industry experts with the exact skills you need to remove barriers to growth.

The report is delivered within 15 days, the service is anonymous, there is no paperwork and the cost is only $3,500 (plus GST). This fee includes two searches of the New Zealand Expert Network and one search of the Global Expert Network which is an international database of over 20,000 experts. As a Global Expert client you will be eligible to apply for TechNZ investment to help meet the cost of accessing the recommended experts.

Global Expert can help with issues around the following:

  • International supply chain

Members of the global network include the Danish Technological Institute, MIT, Berkeley (USA), Cranfield (UK), and Beijing University of Technology. If a problem arises during development of a product or service, or with manufacturing and a company is unable to solve that problem themselves, it is quite likely that someone, somewhere in the world can help.

There are two service options;

  1. Partners, our primary service is available to all. The annual subscription is $3,500 includes one global search and two hotline searches (NZ only). Additional global searches then cost $2,950 each, during the subscription term.
  2. Partners + is a cost effective alternative for organisations seeking from 4 to 12 global searches per year. The Partners + subscription is $9,950 which includes up to 3 client search workshops and access to our NZ expert network for 5 hotline searches. Each additional global search costs $950. All prices are GST exclusive.
