- Winner – Inter City Urgent Ltd – Established in 1996, Inter City Urgent is Auckland’s premier urgent courier service providing everything from quarter-hour urgent deliveries to four-hour large freight deliveries. Its drivers will transport anything from one envelope to five tones of goods, documents to poker tables, medical supplies to gourmet hampers and hazardous chemicals.

Benefitz Best New Start-up Business Award
- Winner – The Costume Studio Ltd – Makers of mascots and costumes for media, promotions and events, The Costume Studio was formed in 2006 and now produces hundreds of costumes and mascots for TV commercials, ad campaigns, promotions and events for major companies throughout New Zealand and Australia. A recent highlight includes making 45 squirrel mascots for a current Cadburys television commercial.
