As Westpac waved their red blanket of support for economic development on the North Shore, Mayor Andrew Williams led the charge with words of congratulations for the Winners of the Westpac Enterprise North Shore Business Excellence Awards at the Winners Function at North Harbour Stadium.

Fire dancers at the entrance set the scene representing the burning desire for success these nine winning companies have demonstrated to be presented with such high honours in this year’s awards.

Adorned in devil’s horns, the Award Sponsors networked with winners include Westpac Supreme Winner Orica Powder and Industrial Coatings; CEO Graeme Squire said “The process of entering the awards has turned out to be far more beneficial than we had anticipated at the outset. We are delighted to be a part of this vibrant successful North Shore business community.”

Malcolm Gray, Area Manager for Westpac said “These awards promote excellence, but they also promote teamwork, a sense of a strong local business community and a desire for success to breed success.”

A few winners collected multiple awards including Icon Security (2 awards), Inter City Urgent (2 awards) and Orica Powder and Industrial Coatings (3 awards). Terry Hoskins, CEO of Enterprise North Shore noted “The outstanding wealth creating abilities of our winning businesses is an indication of the great strength of our economy and represents a solid foundation for our future growth as a City.”
