Wastewater solution provider emerges as a winner

A specialist pump station service provider has emerged as a winner at the Westpac Auckland North Business Awards 2011.

Albany-based business Ecoflow Limited won the Auckland Chamber of Commerce Best Emerging Business Award impressing judges with its niche product that is gaining a huge market share with local councils.

Ecoflow designs and implements successful pressure sewer systems all over the country using specialised equipment imported from the USA. It is the sole distributor of Environment One Low Pressure Sewer Systems (EOne), which provides an effective public sewer system for areas with difficult ground conditions which would otherwise have to remain on failing septic tanks.

Established four years ago to offer an alternative to old and failing septic tanks throughout New Zealand, Ecoflow has now completed more than 10 major contracts and is established as the market leader in this specialised field. The company takes pride in the positive environmental impact that these projects have had on their respective communities.

Ecoflow is involved with every aspect of a project from hydraulic system design, sales, project management to commissioning and also offers a 24/7 service line.

Ngaio Merrick, Manager Business Development – North for Auckland Tourism, Events and Economic Development believes Ecoflow is set for a bright future.

“Ecoflow is now well established and is emerging as a successful company. With limited overheads and the potential to up scale the business dramatically, we look forward to watching it develop further in the future,” says Ms Merrick.

The annual Westpac Auckland North Business Awards celebrates excellence in the local business community and honours successful companies across 12 awards categories.
